BEHAVE 2025 is the 8th edition of the biannual European Energy Network event focusing on the application of behavioural insights in energy efficiency and climate mitigation. This year's edition is organised by ADEME, French Agency for Ecological Transition, on 11-12 December 2025 in Paris, France.
Call for extended abstracts
Submission deadline has been extended to 15th July for registered applicants!
- The call targets both academic and policy/practice contributions. Please check the extended abstract template here.
- Eligible submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and the conference programme will be based on the approved and selected extended abstracts.
- All accepted extended abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings that will be released during the conference.
Deadline to register (create an account) on the Behave platform: 7th July 2025.
Deadline for proposal submission: 15th July 2025.
How to submit your extended abstract?
All submissions should be made via this platform. You need to create an account first and then you’ll be able to submit your extended abstract.
- Click on "Create your account" button below and register on the platform (you will receive an email to activate your account).
- Once your account has been activated, click on "Submit an abstract" and provide the required information.
The decisions from the Scientific Committee will be communicated to the proposal submitters via this platform.
Participation in the Energy Efficiency Journal call for papers
We are collaborating with the Energy Efficiency journal that has agreed to host a Special Issue based on submissions to Behave 2025. Researchers presenting at BEHAVE will be invited to contribute to this Special Issue by submitting their work to the call for papers that will be launched by the Journal. The submitted papers will go through a normal peer-review process, independent from the one of the Behave conference, and the acceptance decision of the papers will depend on the results of the peer-review process. More information will be available soon.
